The Lakers fail to play defense and lose 112-108 to the Trailblazers in Los Angeles

Blogged under Bloglockers, Game Recaps, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Thursday 22 February 2007 at 3:02 pm

The Lakers allowed the Trailblazers to hit 59.7% of their shots from the floor and that’s why they lost this game. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Maurice Evans had an excellent game off of the bench with 23 points. Smush Parker had a great game running the offense with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.

The Lakers fell to 30-25 on the season with this loss. The loss was their 6th in a row which is the first time in 16 seasons as an NBA head coach that Phil Jackson has lost that many games in a row. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270221013
