The Lakers didn’t show up for their game yesterday as the Mavericks totally blasted them. The Lakers only shot 36.8% from the floor and they were outrebounded 46-33 and that explains the beating they took. Kobe Bryant only shot 6 of 19 from the floor but still wound up with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Kwame Brown added 10 points and 4 rebounds.

Poor second half dooms the Lakers in 108-92 loss to the 76ers in Philadelphia

The Lakers were outscored 57-35 in the second half last night and that’s why they got thumped. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers with 30 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Little used reserve guard Shammond Williams hit 4 of 6 three point attempts and he wound up with 14 points and 3 rebounds.

The Lakers get smoked 110-90 by the Bucks in Milwaukee

The Lakers were without Kobe Bryant who was suspended for last night’s game. The Lakers didn’t play any defense at all as the Bucks hit 59.5% of their shots from the floor and that was too much for them to overcome. Maurice Evans led the way for the Lakers with 22 points. Brian Cook also had a solid game with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

The Lakers fall in OT 117-107 to the Timberwolves in Minnesota

The Lakers only shot 39.8% from the floor last night and they were outrebounded 58-46 and that hurt them big time last night. The Lakers also collapsed in the OT period as they were outscored 12-2 by the Timberwolves. Can’t blame Kobe Bryant for the loss as he filled up the stat sheet with 40 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots. Smush Parker also had a solid game with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.

The Lakers get nipped 99-94 by the Suns in Phoenix

The Lakers played hard yesterday but it wasn’t quite enough to win. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers with 31 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Brian Cook had an outstanding game yesterday with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
