Walton has played in 43 games this season and he has averaged 33.2 minutes, 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. The Lakers really need him back soon to help make up for the loss of Lamar Odom as Walton has really improved as a player this season.

Lamar Odom has a torn labrum in his shoulder and could miss the rest of the season. He played in 38 games this season and he averaged 39.2 minutes, 16.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. The Lakers will definately miss Odom as he takes a lot of pressure off of Kobe at the offensive end of the court. The second half of the season could be ugly for the Lakers now.

The Lakers just couldn’t stop the hot shooting Kings who hit 52.7% of their shots from the floor last night. Still, it’s hard to lose a basketball game when you outrebound your opponent 44-25, but that’s exactly what the Lakers did last night. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers with 30 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists. Lamar Odom also had a great game with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Lakers fell to 33-26 on the season with this loss. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270302013
