Phoenix Suns 126, Los Angeles Lakers 98

Blogged under The NBA Playoffs, Bloglockers, Game Recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Wednesday 25 April 2007 at 12:15 am

The Lakers never had a chance in the game tonight. The Suns had their fastbreak going as they shot 54.3% from the floor as a team. If the Lakers can’t play better defense than they did tonight, this series will be over in 4 games. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Kobe had an off night shooting as he only hit 5 of 13 shots from the floor. Lamar Odom also had an off night as he only hit 4 of 12 shots from the floor, but he still wound up with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Farmar and Maurice Evans each pitched in with 10 points apiece. Reserve center Andrew Bynum had a solid game off of the bench with 9 points and 12 rebounds in only 18 minutes on the floor. The Lakers might as well start Bynum in game #3 because the Lakers have nothing to lose. The Lakers are now down 2-0 to the Suns in this series.
