Los Angeles Lakers 95, Phoenix Suns 89

Blogged under The NBA Playoffs, Bloglockers, Game Recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Friday 27 April 2007 at 11:39 am

The Lakers hit the boards hard as they outrebounded the Suns 44-35 last night and that’s the big reason why the Lakers short circuited the Suns offense. The Lakers outscored the Suns 47-38 in the 2nd half of the game and that’s why they won last night. Kobe Bryant was awesome last night as he led the way for the Lakers with 45 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Kwame Brown finally woke up and played up to his ability last night as he scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lamar Odom was fantastic at both end of the floor. He scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds while holding Shawn Marion to 10 points and 4 rebounds. The Lakers won this game despite the fact that their bench was outscored 34-6 in this game. The Suns are up 2-1 now in this series.
