The Los Angeles Lakers acquire Trevor Ariza from the Magic
The Lakers have acquired small forward Trevor Ariza from the Magic for Brian Cook and Maurice Evans. Ariza can really run the floor and he has a much bigger upside than either of the players the Lakers traded. Ariza has played in 11 games (0 starts) so far this season and he has averaged 10.5 minutes, 3.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Ariza has now played in 205 games (29 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 18.4 minutes, 6.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. Mark my words, this was a good trade for the Lakers.

I think the new trade for Trevor Ariza finally brings a solid defensive player without giving up to much.
in fact, not only can he run the court and play solid D he might even develop some O in the future. You never know.
I’ve seen the bookie nba lines http://www.wagerweb.com/sports-betting/nba-odds.html
(inside info) and the Lakers look like the have an excellent shot at winning or getting close. Its crazy that Lakers fans and haters think after one lost its over.
Its also nice to see players stand up and take blame for a sport that has long passed being a team sport.
Deep down thats really why we love college hoops.
Overall I like the Lakers chances this year. I think one game is zipo and to see players step up is a good
feeling that should extend deep into the season.
