22-year old center Andrew Bynum is playing great basketball this season for the Lakers. He has played in 27 games (all starts) for the Lakers this season and he is averaging 31.7 minutes, 15.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 blocked shots per game. The great thing about Bynum’s development is that he doesn’t have to be the main man on the Lakers as they have a lot of great veteran players around him. But, I have little doubt that when the Lakers need Bynum to be the dominant player he will be up to the task down the road.

Ron Artest had 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists but he had problems dealing with LeBron James on D. Pau Gasol also had a rough game shooting 4 of 11 from the floor finishing with 11 points and 6 rebounds. The Lakers are now 23-5 on the year.
