The Lakers didn’t play any defense against the Heat last night as they shot 52.5% from the floor and that’s what did them in. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers last night with 39 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists. Derek Fisher pitched in with 14 points and 2 rebounds. Lamar Odom had a solid game off the bench against his old team with 13 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. The Lakers are now 46-16 on the year.

The Lakers shot 51.7% from the floor last night as they rolled out to a 98-71 lead after three quarters before calling off the dogs. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers last night with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in 30 minutes. Jordan Farmar had a outstanding game for the Lakers last night as he finished up with 19 points and 3 assists in only 24 minutes off the bench. Andrew Bynum (16 points and 8 rebounds) and Pau Gasol (14 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists) provided the muscle for the Lakers last night. The Lakers are now 46-15 on the season.

Los Angeles Lakers 112, Sacramento Kings 103 in 2 OT

The Lakers outrebounded the Kings 55-48 last night and that helped them outlast them. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers last night with 38 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Pau Gasol also stuffed the stat sheet with 24 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 blocked shots last night. Shannon Brown pitched in with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist in 28 minutes off the bench last night. The Lakers are now 24-5 on the year.

Cleveland Cavaliers 102, Los Angeles Lakers 87

The Lakers really sucked yesterday as the Cavaliers punished them. The Lakers only shot 36.5% from the floor and the Cavs shot 54.3% which explains the loss. The key bricklayer for the Lakers yesterday was Kobe Bryant who shot 11 of 32 from the floor as he finished up with 35 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Ron Artest had 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists but he had problems dealing with LeBron James on D. Pau Gasol also had a rough game shooting 4 of 11 from the floor finishing with 11 points and 6 rebounds. The Lakers are now 23-5 on the year.

Los Angeles Lakers 111, Oklahoma City Thunder 108

The Lakers had to fight until the end last night to hold off the pesky Thunder at the Staples Center. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers last night with 40 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Pau Gasol had another solid night with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 6 blocked shots. Derek Fisher pitched in with 15 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists last night. The Lakers are now an amazing 23-4 on the year.
